George Stanciu

Born in 1982. in Iasa, Romania. George received ballet education in Kiev state ballet school. Immediately after graduation he got a contract with Croatian National Theater in Zagreb. He was promoted to principal dancer in 2008. During his career Stanciu worked with some of the most prominent choreographers: Nacho Duato, Derek Dean, Vasco Wellenkamp, Edvard Clug, Renato Zanella, Giorgio Madia, Vladimir Malakhov, Patrice Bart and many more.

His roles include: Romeo, Mercuzio (Romeo & Juliet), Basilio, Espado (Don Quijote), Solor (La Bayadere), Benno (Swan lake), Prince (Nutcracker), James (La Sylphide), Franz (Coppelia at Montmartre) etc.
