Aleksandr Lukjanov
Artistic director & Ballet Master
Aleksandr Lukjanov was born in Kiev, Ukraine.
Education:
After graduating from Kiev State Ballet School, Lukjanov spent 2 years in Vaganova ballet Academy improving his virtuosity.
During his schooling he trained with the major figures of Russian classical ballet including Denysenko, Dudinskaya, Bregvadze and Fidler.
Dancing career:
Aleksandr was the first soloist of The State Opera and Ballet "T. Schevchenko" in Kiev and guest soloist at The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, as well as Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. He was a principal dancer at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb and The Northern Ballet in Manchester, England. He was a member of an international touring company "The International Ballet Stars Berlin" with who he performed on stages all over Europe and worldwide. He danced all the leading roles of classical repertoire.
Currently he is the artistic director at Ballet masterclass. He is frequently invited to give masterclasses in theatres and ballet schools all over Europe.
